OVER 20 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I began performing magic at the age of ten and was already entertaining internationally by sixteen.
Over the years I’ve performed in countless real-world environments, created original effects used by magicians worldwide and helped other performers shape powerful routines for competitions, professional performances and commercial work.
I’ve worked closely with magicians to strengthen presentations, improve structure, refine methods and create routines that genuinely connect with audiences emotionally.
This is not theory from somebody who only talks about magic. This is practical guidance from somebody who lives it professionally.
SESSION LENGTH
Each CONNECT experience typically lasts between 60–90 minutes, depending on the direction of the session, the material explored and the level of creative development involved.
Some sessions focus heavily on learning powerful new routines, while others become deeper creative workshops centred around structure, scripting, audience psychology and developing material specifically for your performance style.
Sessions take place live via Zoom or your preferred online video platform, and after booking I’ll personally contact you to arrange a suitable date and time.

This was the second lesson I had booked with Joel. Again he started with where I was at and Joel was totally responsive to the things I wanted to cover. We looked at my linking rings routine and Joel was able to provide some really helpful feedback which was both constructive and encouraging. We then got to grips with the Ambitious Card routine and Joel was able to share some really helpful advice and moves from his own professional repertoire. i am then able to review the recording of the session to reinforce what we had covered.

This was a really great opportunity to get some one on one time (over 90minutes) with Joel to help me develop aspects of routines I was already working on, including Professor's Nightmare, chop cup and ring on rope.
